Ken Schels, owner of KMS, is a north woods Wisconsin company specializing in handcrafted wood and metal sculptures, hand and chainsaw carvings, quaint cabins and rustic furniture. Each piece is handmade by combining natures organic forms working in harmony with the creativity of the sculptor, he welds and carves metal or wood to make a balanced combination of man and nature. Creations include draw bridges to corkscrew slides that go from a loft down to the living room. Ken himself admits that many times he only has to polish what nature has already created.
